The Week-end au bord de l’eau Festival Among the 2025 European Festival Awards Nominees!
The Week-end au bord de l’eau Festival has been nominated for the European Festival Awards, alongside renowned festivals such as Rock Werchter (Belgium), Primavera Sound (Spain), Paléo Festival de Nyon (Switzerland), and Jazz in the Park (Romania).
This nomination recognizes 20 years of boldness and innovation: a strong local presence, exemplary sustainable development policies, a unique musical and artistic program, and a diverse cultural offering combining music, circus, street art, and creative workshops.
The Week-end au bord de l’eau Foundation also stands out throughout the year with its projects: Radio du bord de l’eau, the Disques du bord de l’eau label and publications, and the preservation of 20 years of artistic heritage, including street art works and audio-video archives of past concerts.
This year, over 30 countries participated in the selection process, with no fewer than 300,000 unique votes cast by the public. The final selection recognized the best festivals across 13 categories.
The European Festival Awards will celebrate their 15th edition in 2026 with a prestigious ceremony on 14 January at De Oosterpoort – Grote Zaal in Groningen (Netherlands).
This wonderful recognition comes at a symbolic moment: in 2026, the Week-end au bord de l’eau Foundation will celebrate its 20th anniversary.
Tickets for the 19th edition, scheduled from 25 to 28 June, are already on sale, and the first artists have been announced on the Festival’s official website.
