Pernett is a Colombian musician, singer, and producer, known as a pioneer in blending traditional Caribbean rhythms (like cumbia and bullerengue) with electronic sounds. He bridges the ancestral and the futuristic, mixing gaita, drums, and synthesizers. His music is festive, spiritual, and deeply rooted in Afro-Colombian culture. His song Óptimo Positivo has become an anthem of love and joy. For this edition, Pernett will open the special Sunday night closing concert and lead a percussion workshop each afternoon of the festival.
