Systema Solar 🇨🇴

Systema Solar is a Colombian musical collective founded in 2006, blending cumbia, champeta, bullerengue, hip-hop, electro, and dub. Inspired by pikos (Caribbean Sound System), the group creates a festive and socially conscious fusion, with lyrics addressing political and social issues. Their explosive energy is reflected in tracks like ¿Quién es el patrón? and El Botón del Pantalón. With albums such as Systema Solar (2009) and Rumbo a Tierra (2016), they celebrate Colombia’s cultural richness while denouncing injustice. Known for their dynamic performances and visual artistry, they embody the vibrant and rebellious spirit of modern Afro-Caribbean music. The band will release their new album Futuro Primitivo on May 15, 2025, and will present it exclusively in Switzerland this summer!
