Maxans 🇷🇪

Maxans is a visual artist from Réunion Island, currently based in Berlin. He has performed as a VJ in renowned venues across Vienna, including O Klub, Flex, and Grelle Forelle. His visual language is inspired by the island’s distinctive topography and post-expressionist painting, favoring vivid colors and rich compositions over minimalist aesthetics. Through generative systems, he creates responsive visuals that interact closely with musicians in live performance. His background in digital scenography for circus and theater informs a strong sensitivity to performative dynamics and improvisation.
