Acid Coco is a Colombian duo whose music draws inspiration from the rhythms of the Pacific coast, the Caribbean, and the Andes. Their debut album, Mucho Gusto (2020), blends traditional coastal sounds with festive electronic influences, celebrating life in all its complexity. Their distinctive style fuses cumbia, punk, champeta, reggaeton, and tropical music. In 2022, they released Camino al Mar, further exploring the emotional intensity of Colombian culture through Afro-Caribbean rhythms infused with electronic textures. Supported by outlets such as BBC Sounds, Bandcamp Daily, and Radio Nacional de Colombia, Acid Coco has established itself as a bold and innovative voice in contemporary Latin American music.
